Medan Municipality in Figures 2024 is a routine publication published every year by BPS Medan City to meet the information needs of all levels of society and as a form of accountability and performance in public services. This publication presents various statistical data regarding a general description of geographic and climatic conditions, government, as well as the development of socio-demographic and economic conditions in Medan City. Certain tables present data at the sub-district and city district levels in North Sumatra to see comparisons between regions. To make it easier to understand and use the data, a technical explanation of each type of statistics presented is also included. The need for statistical data in every development sector is currently increasingly felt. This has motivated BPS Medan City to continue to complete and perfect the data presented both in terms of quantity and quality.
