Medan Municipality In Figures 2021 is an annual publication published by BPS-Statistics of Medan Municipality to fulfill the informations needed by all levels of societyand as a form of accountability and performance in public services.At present, the need for statistical data from each development sector is increasingly being felt, and this has motivated BPS-Statistics of Medan Municipality to continue to complete and improve the data presented, both in terms of quantity and quality. The data presented are sourced from routine activities, surveys and censuses carried out by BPS-Statistics of Medan Municipality, and are complemented by secondary data collected and managed by government and private agencies in Medan Municipality. Broadly speaking, this publication contains statistical information on geographic conditions, governance, population, employment, agriculture, industry, mining, energy, construction, drinking water, electricity, transportation and communications, banking, and gross regional domestic product. It is hoped that all of this will become the basic raw materials for sectoral and cross-sectoral development planning in Medan Municipality.
